For CollabFriday today I’m announcing my most recent BIG collaboration: Old & New Project
Interview with Kisumu artist Edward Orato
While in Kisumu, Kenya I feasted on some of the most valuable fish in the world (but not because they’re rare)
Last week I spent some time with homeless kids last week living in the streets of Tanzania. Some are orphans, some castaways, some runaways. While I played a bit of keepaway with the boys and my colleague Eli, a few other kids took turns shooting the action with my camera. The results are fascinating.
Ok. I’m back from Africa and have spent the whole week trying to write. A few of my best attempts have resulted in idiotic and cheezy half-paragraphs that contain the word “amazing” at least once per sentence. This is especially discouraging since “amazing” is one of those words that I generally try to avoid altogether…
I’m going to Africa.
