Children’s Ministry Logo Design Process
This past week I had a chance to help re-brand and design a logo for the children’s ministries at my church.
After my client got really excited about my initial design concept which used the compass rose and typeface from the church’s main logo (which I did not create), we tried a few variations.
Alternative Health and Wellness Logo
Logo design for an herbalist and alternative health specialist in northern Michigan. This definitely isn’t one of my personal favorite designs, but my client absolutely loved it, and that’s what counts!

Non-Profit Logo Design
Logo design for northern Michigan Christian non-profit organization Foundations for Families. I’m still tweaking the website a bit, but should be finished soon.

Design Process: David McClain Photography Logo
Logo design for a cool photographer based out of Cincinatti. This project took longer than normal, as both David and I wanted this logo to be just right. And since he is an old friend, I told him we’d make as many revisions as necessary to make it perfect.
Read below to follow along the process David and I took to develop this logo.

Traverse City Non-Profit Logo Design
ARN wanted a logo that represented the puzzle of Autism Spectrum Disorder, while communicating the mission of community, healing, support and awareness.
The Break Logo
See this logo in action on the The Break brochure. The 2008 promotional video features this logo in one of my favorite placements.
